Place in a preheated 350 F degree oven for 45-55 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure it's done, placing a toothpick in the center and seeing if it comes out clean.

If you're bringing this holiday baked good to a holiday brunch or christmas party or serving it at your own holiday party wait until the gingerbread is completely cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar for a finished look - place powdered sugar in a strainer and dust the sugar back and forth covering the gingerbread.

This gingerbread is especially yummy with a fresh cup of coffee or tea, topped with whipped cream, or eaten straight out of the pan on a cold winter day.
